50th Anniversary Tournament
North Waterloo 50th Anniversary Tournament - Hold the Dates
North Waterloo is pleased to announce that we will be holding a 50th Anniversary Tournament which will be hosted by Wilmot Softball Association, Twin Centre Minor Ball and the KW Umpires Association. We are excited to invite teams from across the province to participate in our 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Tournament Dates - May 30th* to June 1st
Cost: $700/team
*Some night games may be scheduled on May 30th. We will attempt to make these games for teams which are most local to the area.
The majority of games will start at 9am Friday May 31st and run through Sunday June 2nd in the early afternoon weather permitting.
This tournament is open to ages U13 through U20. It is a 5-game guarantee tournament with Medals awarded to 1st, second, 3rd and 4th place. Round robin format. Top 4 teams qualify for the single elimination final. From round robin play, 1st place plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd. Winner of each will play for Gold, loser of each will play for Bronze. We are hoping to fill each division with 12 teams. The schedule and format will vary depending on the number of teams. If a division has lesser teams, it is possible, we could seed teams and then go to a double elimination final. Schedules will be published once the divisions are filled or no later than May 7th,2024.
The Tournament organizers are working to secure special hotel rates for participating teams and their families. This information will be available by Mid-February and will be sent out to participating teams via email once available.
Tournament Rules
The U15 level filled quickly. If you try and register and do not get a prompt to join the waitlist, please contact me @ mcarey@wilmotthunder.com. If we can get to 16 teams then we will revamp the schedule to accommodate 16 teams. Still with a 5GG. I will list all teams on the waitlist below.
Tournament Registration - Registration Opens January 20th.
To register for the tournament, you will be required to create a RAMP account. Payment will only be accepted via credit card. (Visa or Mastercard) Please note that registration will be through the Wilmot Softball site because North Waterloo is not set up for online registration.
You will be asked to input the following information which we will need prior to the tournament. If you do not have the info immediately, you can go back into your account and add it later.
